While we’re sad to see the Christmas season go, it’s time to begin the new year. As such, all of our Christmas-related items on sale at the W Shop must go. If you have any last minute holiday purchases to make, today is your last chance, as tomorrow, January 5, all of our Christmas W Shop items will no longer be on sale. So don’t delay, and scoop up the last of the Christmas items today!

The Code Shop is currently unavailable due to an issue that prevents codes from being redeemed. We are currently working on this issue and will reopen the Code Shop when it is fixed.

Whether it’s visiting friends or just hanging out around the house, the Schnauzer knows how to make life fun. In fact, the Schnauzer is so much fun that it’s taken the year’s first Pet of the Month honors as January’s Pet Of The Month!

As with all our Pet Of The Month pets, adopting the Schnauzer this month will get you an exclusive Pet of the Month loot bag that is filled with goodies you can’t get anywhere else! You’ll also have the chance to participate in some exclusive Daily Activities as a Pet Of The Month owner, and you’ll get a free download of the Pet Of The Month song!

Webkinz World Updates

• Our new Arena game, Duck Crossing, is coming this month! A bunch of new items and activities are inbound, as well.
• The Christmas W Shop item sale continues until January 5th. Get your last-minute winter shopping done now!

Physical Products

• Our featured pets for January include the Portuguese Water Dog, the Triceratops, the Ginger Cat, and the Weimaraner.
• The new Signature German Shepherd joins the featured pets this month.

Happy New Year, everyone. We hope you are enjoying this first day of 2010! We have some news regarding some of the new content in Webkinz World.

We have received reports from a small percentage of our members stating that the loot bags containing special items that are awarded when registering a Pet Of The Month pet have not been rewarded properly.

The issue was identified, and it has now been fixed. Anyone who registers a Schnauzer from this point forward during January will receive the Pet Of The Month loot bag. For those who registered a Pet Of The Month pet but did not receive a loot bag yet, a fix will be coming on Monday of next week that will award the loot bag.

According to word around the newsroom, the Koala was unwilling to allow the Schnauzer to take Pet of The Month honors from it and decided to steal some of the Pet of The Month loot bags! Mustache Louie was not pleased.

Additionally, the Mountain Mine Ride, awarded to Deluxe members that have a yearly membership, is currently closed for repairs. Annual Deluxe members will recieve the item correctly, but the ride will only begin to be operational next week. Apparently, Arte still had some gems to mine from within it.

We ask you kindly to bear with us during this holiday season. We’re working diligently to get these problems solved. In the mean time, enjoy the time with friends and family, and be sure to check out all the fun activities in Webkinz World! Thank you for your patience.
